Brenda Plays with a Couple at CVE

Brenda is a petite little thing that I had played with a couple of times over the course of a year or so.  You will notice some windows with mini-blinds at the back of the theater. Those are private rooms with lockable doors. Couples use them when they want some privacy, or when they want to give a show but still stay at a safe distance from the crowd. Yes, that is a strippers pole.  The second walk through is much darker, which is a more realistic view. That's the way you will find it when you visit. Of course, the store area is always well lit and well staffed.

Frustrating night at Annabelle's in Winston Salem, NC

I may very well have spent the strangest night of my life in an adult theater a couple of weeks ago. The scene was Annabelle's, the bookstore/video arcade/theater complex in Winston-Salem, NC.  To borrow a phrase, it was the best of nights, it was the worst of nights.

My date for the evening fell through, and I couldn't get plan B to come through either, but since there is very little to do in Winston-Salem on a Saturday night, I figured I would go solo and run some recon on the place.

A Nice Show at an Atlanta Porn Theater

Saturday, August 19, I dropped into the Twin Theaters on Buford Highway, 5805 Buford Hwy in Doraville, GA, a northeast suburb of Atlanta, which, as I found by reading some information posted in the lobby, is the legal name of the establishment these days. Originally opened as the Buford Highway Twin Cinema in the early 70's it was originally a Jerry Lewis theater. In the 80's they actually showed hardcore in one theater and mainstream in the other. Enough of the history, on to the report.

As I was checking into my hotel earlier in the evening I learned that there were actually two separate lifestyle parties being hosted there. That made me think that most of the "players" may be at the party rather than playing at the theater, but I wanted to go over and check it out since I haven't been there since they reopened a couple of years ago. Not much has changed since my last stop. I suspect that it hasn't been remodeled since Jerry opened the place, but it still serves the purpose.

A Visit to Cinema One in Chattanooga, Tennessee

I have heard about the Cinema One in Chattanooga, TN for years, but since Chattanooga is a bit off my beaten path, I have never had a chance to visit. A couple of weeks ago I got my first chance and I am pretty certain that it won't be my last!

The theater is located at 4100 Rossville Blvd. in Chattanooga. Parking is "discreet". Admission is by membership only. It will cost you $20 to get through a very simple membership process (valid for a year) and get into the theater/booth area. Store hours are 10AM to Midnight. They are open until 3:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday is free for couples.

Enjoying the Real Show in a Porn Theater

The Oak Theater on Western Avenue in Chicago was another one of those old Art Deco movie houses that went adult in the mid-70's when malls and multiscreen cineplexes were being discovered. I spent a lot of time in the Oak, back in the day, because in addition to first class adult movies, they had strippers on stage every three hours or so. Guys would crowd down around the stage, getting as close as they could, hoping to catch a whif, or feel, of a willing lady. There were usually three girls. Two locals then a "star". I met Hyapatia Lee there well before she went to Californina and became a porn star.

One night a week, they would even host an amateur night, when wives and girlfriends would come down to expose it, shake it and otherwise use it to their best advantage to win a small cash prize. The chance for seeing something you weren't "supposed to" was always greatest on amateur night. That was the night I usually went, though I went other times as well.
